The Nevada Slurry Valve is a severe service valve designed to handle high temperature, high pressure abrasive and corrosive slurries found in gold pressure oxidation autoclaves. It is also used in an array of severe service applications with various types of solids and chemicals.

Slurry Valve Design

Floating ball design, full bore through entire valve. Large body cavity around ball. Bi-directional metal seat sealing. Mate-lapped metal seats to provide Class IV – Class VI shutoff. Any coating can be used on valve trim. Stem designed to handle scale build-up and torque of oversized actuator. Body flanges designed to ASME Section VIII requirements. More body bolting than typical ball valves. Wall thicknesses meets ASME B16.34 requirements. Soft seats are available.

Customizable Valve, Packing & Seal Materials, Metallic components machined from forgings or bar, Packing and seals can be constructed from any material.


Manual or automated (pneumatic, hydraulic, electric, electro-hydraulic) operation, Supplied with actuation accessories, Shoulder-style mounting.
